Be Courageous!

There is a motto that has been floating around the last few years, Fail Fast and Fail Often.

Those who are successful are not those who never fail. In fact, the opposite is often true they fail the most.

It is not a lack of failure that determines a positive life, rather how we choose to handle it.  A positive attitude and thus a positive life is about turning things around, seeking their opposite.

Learning what doesn’t work brings you closer to discovering what does. When you know what you don’t want, you can more easily determine what you do.

Where you choose to put the focus, makes all the difference. And the choice is indeed yours and yours alone.

Taking Stock and Changing Directions

If you are not pleased with the direction your life is headed, there is good news…

The power to change it is within you.

Are there outside circumstances we cannot control? Of course, there are!

But, you choose how to view and respond to those circumstances. You tell the story.

As Tony Robbins would say,

“Change your story, change your life.”

It begins with the courage to evaluate where you are. Maybe you have been too afraid to take an honest look at you life. You cannot change where you are if you don’t know where that is and ignoring it will only keep you stuck.

It’s like someone avoiding their mailbox because they don’t want to see the bills. They will just keep coming anyway.

The things you don’t want in your life will just keep coming if you don’t evaluate and change them.

Make the Change

Once you know where you are at, it’s time to change it. Do something different. Work on your mindset; listen to daily inspirational audios, read a book. Break the negative patterns.

Remember, only you can think your thoughts. No one else has the power, but you.

It takes courage and determination. It takes letting go of the “victim mentality” and knowing how amazing you can be.

But, how empowering is that!
